Is this happening to anyone else? NetBeans used to be fine, but then in later upgrades (6.7, 6.8, 6.9) it seemed to crash at irregular intervals.

With 6.9, it is barely usable since it crashes whenever it tries to load the "fixer" menu (i.e. when you leave out an import and click the lightbulb icon to automatically import it).

Does anyone know of a fix, or is a downgrade the only thing at the moment?

Which version of Mac OS X and Java are you running? NetBeans 6.x is known to have problems sometimes on Mac OS X versions prior to 10.6 (Snow Leopard) running Java 6.

I'm running Snow Leopard (10.6.4) and Java version 1.6.0_20.

I guess that means there are no fixes :S

Same here man. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem. I googled it and this was the first listing. :)

I've tried on 10.6.2 and 10.6.3. I was having this issue in Windows 7 on the Beta 6.9 but it's stable as ever on the final version of 6.9 on windows. On mac though 6.9 is horrible. I can't use the import like you said.
