netflix app on 3Gs

Any official word on whether or not the new Netflix app will work on the 3GS? I've heard some rumors that it won't, hoping they are wrong. Thanks.

At WWDC they tested it on a 3GS and they said it was coming to the iPhone.

I don't remember exactly, but some blog somewhere suggested that it might not.

The most likely candidate to not receive the Netflix app is the original iPhone/3g due to its slower processor possibly not having the capability to run the streams at a certain bitrate. Again that's just my speculation and has no evidence to back that up.
