Netflix hang

My new Macbook Air (2012 13") is periodically hanging while watching fullscreen Netflix streaming. The video stops updating but the audio keeps playing. The operating system also becomes rather unresponsive and I had to physically power it off. This is with Safari.

Has anyone else encountered this and is there a fix?

I use it all the time, seems fine with my machine but I don't have an Air. Check to see if you have the latest Silverlight plugin running.

Yes i am having the same problem with my 11" 2012 Macbook Air. The exact same issue word for word. Is it Silverlights issue or an issue with the Macbook?

i also have the 13 in macbook air, same issues as u. and it only seems to happen on certain shows it makes no sense
