I know using Netflix on 3G uses A LOT of data (I'm with AT&T). What if I loaded the movie at my house on WIFI and then kept it playing until I left my WIFI area but it still was playing. Would it be using data? Is there any way to watch Netflix without having it eat up my 2 GB of data?

Thanks guys.

Nope. It doesn't load videos like the default media player does. It streams them as you watch. It may buffer a few seconds but that's about it.

Am I correct in assuming the same goes for all idevices? I was curious about using netflix on an ipad while travelling, specifically while going in and out of coverage areas. No way to increase that buffer at all?

You are correct.

No way...
