I want to purchase the Apple HomePod Mini, but I just want to know whether I will be available to use the HomePod Mini to steam Audio through it while watching Netflix or Stan on my iPhone while watching?

Using a stereo pair of full size HomePods as default audio for my TV (amazing, btw) and used a single previously. I've had a very good experience with both configurations. Watch Netflix often with no problem. Since adding the second HomePod, once in a great while the audio becomes slightly un synched. Pausing and unpausing works to fix.
A slight annoyance, but it happens once a week maybe. This did not ever happen with a single HomePod. I don't know why the mini would work any differently.

the mini can't be set as default output for the aTV, only the full size.
and the OP is asking about using it with their phone.
I’m aware what they were asking. I was merely providing feedback about Netflix and HomePod. The other details were just explaining how my situation was different, for context.
