Hi,

Is there a difference in resolution between the “Standard” subscription and the “Premium” one, when watching on iPhone X/XS? Or is it the same, only that the Premium adds DolbyVision?
What is the resolution? Just 1080p, or higher?

Thanks

You're not going to notice much of a difference on your phone. It's when you're streaming on your TV that you'll see the difference between HD and UHD 4K (in shows/films that support it).

All I can find is from this article here: https://help.netflix.com/en/node/23927

Resolution
iPhone and iPod touch models support streaming up to 720p in iOS 7.0 and later, and 480p in iOS 6.0 and earlier. All iPhone Plus models beginning with the iPhone 6 Plus support streaming up to 1080p. iPhone X, XS, and XS Max support streaming up to 1080p, while the iPhone XR supports streaming up to 720p. iPads support streaming up to 720p in iOS 7.0 or later, and 480p in iOS 6.0 and earlier. iPads with Retina displays support streaming up to 1080p.

This doesn’t specify which plan you need to have in order to get those resolutions though. But hopefully this helps a little bit.

Ya. Thanks. That’s what I thought. There is no reason to stream the 4K resolution to the iPhone. Also iTunes ends at 1080p for mobile streaming.
So I guess for me it is not worth to upgrade to Premium just for the HDR effect. Also don’t have a 4K TV I could use the advantages with.
