Netflix with Yosemite/Safari on 13 MBPr

Does anyone know if the Safari with Yosemite will run Netflix better? Will it tax my computer less when I run Netflix on an external monitor while I have a browser or docs on the laptop screen itself?

I heard that the next Safari will not use Silverlight/flash which I why I ask..
