NetFlix working on uk iphone?

I just created a US itunes account and installed the netflix app on my iphone 4
Is there a way to get this working outside the US using a vpn?

Firstly, you need a paid Netflix account to use the application, and those are not available to people outside the U.S. and Canada.

Secondly, Netflix has paid for licenses to stream content only within the U.S. and Canada. Even if it were possible to do what you are talking about, it would be piracy.
