netgear and aol? won't connect

hey. i'm trying to set up a wireless connection at my dad's house, but when I hook up my netgear router (b) to his brand new intel imac, he can't access aol. he can still access the internet through safari and every other way, but not aol.

please, don't tell me to tell my father to lose aol. he's just not going to do it. lol.
