Hey Guys,
Just picked up the Netgear WDNR3700 and I could not be happier! The range is awesome, my iMac (on my highest floor) finally gets download speeds the same as my MBP and I don't drop connection! Also my new printer is connect wirelessly with no problems.
The only thing I am trying to get running is an external hard drive. It's a Seagate External Desk Drive (1TB). It was formatted for a PC so I used the disk utility to reformat for my macs. I have been using this flawlessly for my backups. Now I want to take that drive and plug it into my router. Ideally would like to be able to back up wireless to the drive. As well as throw on any movies, music whatever that my PS3 can pick up from it as a media server.
However when I try to access the drive it says there are no shares available.
Do I need to reformat the drive again? I have no idea what to do.
