I have a Netgear WRN3500L on the way to help my AEBS with the heavy lifting of routing and extending the n network, which firmware do you recommend? Tomato? ddwrt? OpenWrt? or the original Netgear FW? I want stability and QoS.
I have nothing but praise for Tomato on Linksys - rock solid and very good QoS. DD-WRT is also highly praised.
If you have a look at http://www.myopenrouter.com/ then it suggests that if you want to install Tomato on your Netgear then do it over DD-WRT rather than the stock firmware, so maybe that will give you a chance to eveluate both.
