Hello all, i've looked and looked and i know there's a thread that explains my question, but i just can't seem to find it so here goes my issue:
I have a Airport Extreme Base Station, a MacPro and a powerbook. The MacPro is 75% of the time ON (planning to get a APC battery backup/surge protector), so then i can have it 100% ON. Is there a way for me to access my MacPro with my powerbook from another location? Let's say im at Starbucks or whatever, and im working on a document but i left it on my MacPro by mistake. Knowing that the MacPro is ON from home, could i access it and recover the file? The same way could be if i want to save a document straight to my Documents folder in my MacPro, can i do it? Do i need special software etc? Same with my iTunes library?
Thanks for the help...
