Network Adapter not showing up as plugged in.

I have a Wireless G plus MIMO Blkin Wireless Network adapter, and I downloaded and installed all the software, and now, it tells me to plug it in and then Ill be able to change its recieving prefs, and I plug it in, and nothing. How do I get the computer to see thats it in?
