Hi everyone !
looking for a little advice, please, with regard to an app that can help with the following
my home network runs, without a dedicated server, through a standard BT Home Hub (wired connection to a G5, wireless to a MacBook, and two PC laptops, that also connect wirelessly). The hub has something called an "access control" feature that is supposed to allow me to set automatic disconnection times for different users, but it's operation is flaky at best, and it insists on listing users as having live connections even though they should have been disconnected, so I'm never certain of what's going on without physically checking the status in person !
can anyone recommend an app (power pc; 10.5.8) which will show me which users have live connections, and allow me to select and disconnect them with a couple of clicks - scheduling timed disconnections would be nice, but the manual approach will suffice for the moment; maybe there's something buried in the utilities folder that should do this already, rather than a third party app ???
thanks in advance for any information - much appreciated
