Greetings, im running a 2006 Mac Pro 1,1 with bootcamp 3,2 Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

My problem is that in my network adapters pane both the Local Area Connections say that my network cable is unplugged when its not.

Before any speculations on the trivial let me state what ive done so far;

- Tested the ethernet cable for any error, it works fine on another mac and pc.
- Tested the router for any erros and it connects to any other pc without a prob
- Tested for TCP/IP errors and as far as i could test it, there doesnt seem to be any problems with it(the wireless can assign an ip, the gateway is fine dns is fine etc.)
- In my research what ive gotten closest to a solution is the duplex settings, Ive changed my duplex to all the ones available and when i set it to 10mb/Full the Connection suddenly realizes that it has a cable connected to it but alas no internet and for it to verify that something is connected isnt always the case. (more like 7/10 times it recognizes it)
- Ive formatted my bootcamp drive and installed it again. This also didnt solve anything.

Im fresh out of ideas here and I cannot take my mac to an applestore because i live in turkey and there are no 'genius'es here.

Thanks in advance.
