I run a wireless network with 2 macs and 2 pc's. It works superbly with no problems. In the pc's I can put up an icon representing each computer
( including the macs) and open it to show each computers drives and other shares etc. I would like to be able to do this on the macs but seem to be stuck with having to pick my way through the "finder\Connect to server\ ... " route one share at a time. Can a single computer icon be put up like the pc's and if so how??

Any help would be much appreciated.

in the osx file browser you can drag a mounted network drive or folder/file from that drive to the left sidebar. then you can mount it with 1 click.

hope that helps fit your needs.
