I got my 3GS on Friday the 26th at the local launch. I'm getting a lot of connection problems, mostly they occur in the app store app, I get errors saying "Cannot connect to itunes store" "Unable to download application". I get messages from Safari some times saying something about no network connection, and I also get errors from 3rd party apps related to the network.

I'm on a 20mb ADSL2 connection using the latest Airport Extreme with the latest firmware. My iPhone 3G has no issues with network connectivity and also when I switch to the 3G network on the 3GS instead of wifi my issues go away.

I've tried resting the phones network settings and doing a reset by holding down the power and home buttons for ten seconds. Neither reset worked, I'm afraid my iPhone might be a dud.

Anyone have any ideas?
