Hi all

I have a mobile broadband dongle from O2 that requires me to go into system preferences, network, and to manually connect to the network each time i want to connect the modem. Is it possible to make a shortcut for this?

Thanks!

Carl

Go to System Preferences->Network and at the top of the pane (where it says "Automatic" use the pull down to make a new 'Location' (calling it what you want. Them make your settings for your dongle setup, then save the new Location by hitting the "Apply" button (at the bottom of the pane).

This way you can use the System Preferences->Network, Locations pull down to select your saved dongle Location then just hit the "Apply" button.
