Network connection issue with dongle

When i plug my usb c to normal usb hub adapter/dongle my macbook cant connect to the internet.

I bought that dongle from ebay..any idea why this happens

Yes, you bought a crappy dongle that causes issues.

Any reccomendations on which dongle to buy? Ethernet,usb is a must everything else is accepted too

If you want it to work on the first try, buy the Apple dongle.

If you want to save some money, Amazon. If it doesn't work, return and buy a different one. Repeat until you find one that works.

Im in a country where amazon does not work and sending back etc is not an option since it takes ages
