I seem to be having a problem on my network when I click on the wireless icon in the menu bar, my Mac is showing "New Airport Base Station" needing to be configured. As well when I go into Airport Utility I am asked if I want to set up a new Time Capsule.

I don't know who owns this Time Capsule if it actually exists, but it shouldn't be showing up on my network. It's frustrating as I don't want anyone backing up their files to this mystery Time Capsule by mistake.

For a background, I use a 4th Gen Airport Extreme, with wireless security on WPA2. This I can clearly see in Airport Utility, as it asks me if I would like to configure and extend the base station network with this new Time Capsule.

I will say again I have never purchased a Time Capsule and see no good reason why one should be showing up on my network.

Any ideas? Just a hiccup in the AEBS? I'd like to get to the bottom of this.
