Network drive path gets renamed

I connect to my SMB network drive and the name is "UserShare". But when I disconnect and reconnect to the server, it renames it to UserShare-1. Every time I do it, it adds a number to the end like a suffix. It makes it very hard to sync files, as the path of the drive changes every time I unplug my ethernet cable.

I have seen some other posts with this same issue on another website but with no responses. Has anyone found any type of fix? Is this just limited to Mac OS X Lion? Thank you.
