Resolved Network drive show up as HDD instead of folder

Hi,
I have a hard drive I just added to my Windows XP desktop computer and have it shared over my network so my Macbook Pro can read/write, which works great. The drive shows up in Mac OS X by default as a network folder. Is there anything I can do so that it will show up as a hard drive in the sidebar?

edit: I figured it out. I dragged the drive that was mounted on the desktop to the sidebar, exactly what I was looking for.
