I mapped a network drive to my MacPro running OS 10.7.3.

I set up System Preferences - Users & Groups - Login Item to automatically mount the network drive each time I restart/reboot.

However, even with nothing open/running, when I reboot/restart the drive will remount, but the Finder window will open to this drive's contents.

Is there a way to stop that from happening?

I gave up trying to find that also. Instead, I just add the servers I need to connect to to the "Favorites" so that when I click cmd-k, I can just click on the one I want to use.

I think I figured it out using Automator.

After running Automator I selected Application as the document type.

Then I added two commands:

(1) Get Specified Servers
(2) Connect to Servers

For (1) I choose Add and gave the sever address. In my case it was smb://readyshare/T_Drive

Save the application in a location of your choice (perhaps in the Applications folder). I then added this new application to my login items. It connects, but does not open the folder.
