Network Finder Copy in mavericks Destroys File System on Boot Drive

This has happened at least three times while doing a large network copy and happened in 10.7 and early 10.8 editions.Finder copy crash freezes the entire system and that freeze also damages or destroys the file system on the boot drive.The only option is to pull the plug.A decline of OS X quality and integrity that of course continues in most bug-riddled release yet os x mavericks.

Never experienced this on any version of osx. Have seen this on widows boxes when the hdd's were on their way out tho. I would imagine osx would probably do the same.
