Hi,

Forgive me if this has been answered before, but my search didn't really give me what I wanted.

Is there a way I can interface my 250 GB Firewire LaCie HDD with my home network so I could access it when I am connected? This would in essence make the drive wireless. I know LaCie has a drive out now that can do this, but I am looking for something to allow me to do it with my current drive.

Thanks for the help!!

Joe B.

There are plenty of vendors that make Network Storage devices and servers. including Linksys (USB). Some may require a format of your external, may only support USB, or even worse, may even require a Windows machine to configure it...Keep googling...they are all over the place.
