I have noticed that after a cold start or a restart the network icon in the "computer" folder does not work correctly. It just has a generic blue folder icon and clicking on it has no effect (i.e. does not show network). If I do a get info all the heading in the general secion are just blank (showing --).

If I relaunch the finder the icon gets restored any clicking on it will bring up the network window. Also if I now do a get info it correctly shows as being an alias and the original is located at /network.

So any ideas why this is happening?

Any help much appreciated!
