This is a weird one. I have a lab in my school system and one of the labs has an issue.

There are 5 imacs and 19 all in ones G3s.

We use Mac manager to manage the system.

Here the rub,
The 5 imacs hang often, -- the all-in-ones solid.

I have tested all network connections and cables I have even gone as far as to move one imac onto a cable that a all-in-one was on and it hung but the all-in-one was solid.

My predecessor imaged the all-in-one and he used the image on the imacs.

-Mac manager
-Network assistant
-9.2.2

I know the obvious answer but the super doesn’t want to do it (rebuild the image for the imacs)

Any ideas

it might sound repetitive, but you might check the firmware version for these imacs, and make sure they have enough ram installed.

Being as though they are all running 9.2.2, I dont see how the image would be incompatible between the two machines, unless the 9.2.2 was incrementally updated from the original OS that came on the all-in-one's, that might have system enablers that the iMacs don't need.
Is that the case?
