Network install, choose os?

Annoyingly, I think I need to reimage my iMac -- (just having various issues and a long start up) . I want to stick with Mavericks (for now).

I have an install USB, but I'm thinking maybe just do the download for a fully fresh copy, just in case.

But then I thought...can I still get Mavericks through the network install?

So.. can I ?

Are you Mavericks now? If you are just command-r boot to recovery and erase the disk then reinstall and that will get you Mavericks.

You absolutely can. You'll lose everything, but you can definitely get Mavericks from Internet Recovery after completely erasing your startup volume.
