Every now and then when I sit on a train my iPhone 3GS loses the network and displays an alert box informing me about this.

"Your selected cellular network is no longer available. You can choose a different network in Settings."

This alert box stops the video I might currently be watching and basically interrupts whatever I am doing to tell me about something that isn't important at the moment and that I cannot do anything about (I can't select another network unless I pay roaming prices).

How can I deactivate this useless alert box?
