With a AW Ultra 3, my options are Telstra, Optus and TPG but many of us use Mobile Virtual Network Operators like Belong, Boost, Aldi (mine) and Tangerine. There's a massive price difference between the telcosand the resellers. The original reason to limit plans to those three was because the resellers didn't have eSIMS. However, Aldi is now doing eSIMs so has the technological barrier fallen away and it's now just a commercial lock out/in by Apple with our big telcos? Will cellular connectivity be available for the AW from MVNOs any time soon? Timeframes?
