I got my printer connected via usb. Can it be available for the computers that are connected on the same wireless network or i have to connect it via ethernet?

Mac where printer is connected:
Preferences -> Print & Fax -> check "Share this printer"

or

Preferences -> Sharing -> Printer sharing

On other Macs :
Preferences -> Print & Fax -> Click + -> select printer from list.

The disadvantage of this is your Mac has to be on when other devices need to print. The advantage is you don't need to network it.

Yes it would work if your wireless router allows that. The airport extreme does, and I know ASUS has one to. If your router has a usb port on it, it should work fine.

ok i turned printer sharing on. What im trying to get to work is "HP iPrint" if u know what it is. Its an iphone/ipod touch app which can use network printers. Still not working after activating it, but im pretty sure almost all routers allow such a thing to be done. I wonder what would happen if i just make a wireless server from my mac and try that

edit: yeh that worked... mhm

update: meh it actually did work the original way, thnx for the tip guys
