we have wireless network printers all over our law school. All the IT people (who REFUSE to support anything other than the $h!tty ass Dell lattitude PIII 1 ghz they push on the students) will tell me is that the printers addresses are
\\trabant\red , \\trabant\green etc. i cant seem to get my TiBook to print to them. not sure how to, do i need to go beat an IP address out of the IT people?

At my high school we have 'wired' printers but it's all network so it doens't matter. I just go to Add Printer in print center; then I just move the bar to "Apple Talk". I know this is might not work but it's worth a try.

get the ip address, then add the printer using the ip address. if they wont give it to you, try pinging the name and seeing what ip address it resolves to

also go to a pc, control panel, printers, and look up the properties on your printer, the ip address may be listed there.
