I have a MacBook Pro running OSX, connecting to a network at my office. I connect via the network to an HP 4050TN Laser printer and an HP 3500 Color Laser printer. Whe I print to either printer, pages print out, but the only thing on the first page is a string of garbage. Any ideas?

My immediate reaction would be that the printer drivers you are using are not correct for the model of printer that you are printing to. A quick check of HP's website shows a Universal driver for the 4050 but there only seems to be a PowerPC driver for the 3500. I would at least try the driver for the 4050, assuming that you have not already tried using it.

Tried It

Thanks for the advice, but I've tried that alredady :( I am puzzled since I can actually print from the MacBook but it does not print correctly.

Do both printers use Postscript (I'm pretty sure HP does, but there are some models that don't)? Try using the generic postscript driver.
