Okay, so I've had this macbook for about 5 days. The first few of which, the internet worked fine, but yesterday, it wouldn't work, but started to work fine later on. Today, I've just got no internet

My mac uses 10.4.11, i'm using the airport to connect to my netgear wireless ADSL modem. I'm using a broadband connection. The internet connection is shown as full strength, but I just constantly get this message on every page
You tried to access the address ****, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the web address (URL) is correctly spelled, then try reloading this page

Both PC's in the house are connecting perfectly fine to the internet.
Thanks for any help

OK, so the problem is with your MacBook. The fact it's running Tiger implies you got it used. Did you do a clean install or are you using the previous owners set up? You might try looking in the Network preferences to make sure there are no proxy servers or DNS entries that could be getting in the way.

The install was from a previous owner.
Also, I've been checking network preferences a lot today. Theres no proxies set-up, and I've simply inserted my own DNS server number. It doesn't work with the dns, or if i take the number out. So I'm pretty sure thats not the probelm either.
