How can you determine on a mac os what route an applications is using to get to the Internet? An example I have a Mac os socks proxy but when I shut down the proxy the application telephone continues to work which means it is not using the mac os network system preferences. If I use firefox it follows the proxy once I have the network setting set to use system proxy.
