Network Startup on Tiger

So I didn't realize that network startup existed until about 5 minutes ago and I know almost nothing about it, so sorry if I ask a stupid question.

I'm trying to use Super Duper to clone the hard drive on my G4 desktop to my G4 laptop. Sadly I can't do that because I don't have a firewire cable to boot from an external drive.

My Sawtooth is running on a normal copy of Tiger, and not Tiger Server. Is it still possible to use network startup on my laptop to boot from my Sawtooth? Or do I need Tiger Server?

It is still possible to use client Mac OS X to serve a Netboot image of Mac OS X.

You'll have to set up the TFTP server as well as properly configure the bootp daemon via Terminal.
