I have noticed that an additional icon has suddenly appeared in the menu bar and I cannot seem to get rid of it.

It looks like this <...> and if I move the mouse cursor over the icon it lists "no PPPoE connections were found" and "open network preferences"

I have opened network preferences and there doesn't appear to be any option to turn the status icon off like you can with the airport status icon.

I am using Leopard and it is fully updated.

Anyone else found this, and does anyone know how to turn it off?

Thanks
