Hello @ MacRumors

Do any members run a NAS drive? If so, which one do you have or recommend?

There seem to be a few made by Lacie (500GB Ethernet Mini Gigabit USB2.0 7200RPM 8MB Cache) and Buffalo (Linkstation Pro or Live) or a few others but I am unsure which is the best to run with Apple hardware and allow good sharing of data.

They seem to be more energy efficient than running a PC server and allow further attachment of drives to boost storage.

What would you recommed for the additional drives that would attach to the NAS? Lacie D2 Quadra, Extreme II, Big Disk?

Thanks,
