I want a wireless solution to Time Machine backups. I plan on buying the new AEBS and connect an external USB hard drive for Time Machine backups over wifi. (I actually have the older flat AEBS, but that doesn't officially support TM over wifi.)

I use a Macbook Pro at home. What happens when TM is in the middle of backing up the MBP, and I close the lid to go to work/school/cafe? Will this corrupt the backups? Thank you.

Nope... won't hurt a thing. It will just pick up where it left off when it wakes up.
