Network traffic monitoring / limiting

Hey all,

I have managed to get my cell phone working with my powerbook over bluetooth. It is very expensive to use GPRS in the UK (~$4 per megabyte) but I get 1mb per month free with my contract.

Is there an application that will monitor the cumulative traffic on a network interface and preferable give me a warning or forceably disconnect me after a certain amount of traffic has been transferred.
