[Network] Trying to see Mac (Leopard) in Windows XP over network

I have an iMac that I recently purchased for my sisters. I want to add it to my home network so that I can share files and grab files from that machine. It's running Leopard. It can see the other machines on the network but I can't see the Mac in "My Network Places" in my Windows XP machine. I enabled file sharing like it said. The only way I can connect to the machine is if I type in its IP address. I'm not trying to remember a machine's IP address and don't want to look it up every time I want to share or grab files from it. Is there a way I can see the iMac in My Network Places?

I had the same problem. Are the workgroups the same? If so, and your still having a problem it's possible you can make a shortcut in my network places to the IP address of the Mac. That is what we did which works absolutely fine.

I realise that's probably not the answer you are looking for but it might be a temporary solution until someone can answer it in more depth.
