Network/wifi analysis tool?

I'm in the process of upgrading and tweaking my home network, mostly wireless. Also doing the same for a friend and the network at work.

I could really do with an app for testing throughput, signal strength etc.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Wait, you mean on the iPhone? Sorry, wouldn't know. That's a Mac app.
