Networked printer (USB write error)

I have been trying to network my HP Photosmart C4280. When plugged into my Airport Extreme dual band router I can print from my iMac on the 802.11N band with no problem. When I try to print from my 802.11G connected MacBook I get this message
"Unable to send 1215 bytes of print data! (USB write error)" and it won't print.

Any thoughts on a cure?
