Hi all...

Just in the process of setting up and configuring my MBP however a few things seem to be stopping me.

1 - I find it impossible to update my copy of Adobe CS2. I can install fine, run fine, but updateing via adobe update just brings up an error. The files download ok, but just dont install. Suggestions?

2 - Everyone knows Rosetta doesn't allow preference pane extensions, but how can I remove version cue from my menubar without using the preferences pane?

3 - I'm trying to connect to the laptop from my desktop iMac. When I go to finder > go > Connect to server and type in "smb://kmessenger/" which is the laptops network name, it comes up with the error "Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in smb://kmessenger/ could not be read or written". I'm connecting wirelessly. Again, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.
