Is there any way to add my ruby imac g3 to my netwok? The other two computers are wireless via an airport express which has no ethernet out. My imac has no wifi. Can I use an ethernet splitter at the cable modem having one line go to the airport and the other the imac? That wont work will it.

There are a few USB wireless adapters out there which allow any Mac running OS X 10.3+ to go wireless. They are usually 802.11g compatible but if you use USB 1.1 ports they are limited to that speed (which should still be OK for web surfing).

Here's one. I know nothing about it, just Googled it, but it may be what you need.

If you have a slot loading G3 then slap in an original airport card and adapter it will work with your airport network perfectly, all be it a maximum of 11 Mbps.

Not all slot loading iMacs can take an Airport card. I had a 350MHz model that had pads on the mobo for a card slot but the slot was not installed.
