Hey all,

I wanted to network my MacBook with the family Windows laptop to share iTunes music. I enabled file sharing on both computers, and I can see files between the two computers, but there's an issue that I'm a little worried about.

I enabled SMB sharing so I would have to enter a password on my PC, but if I enter //[MB ip address]/[username], I don't have to enter a password, and I can see every file on my computer! I only have one file shared on the network, but for some reason I can see every file... Any ideas?

I really doubt it. I've never tried to do anything like this before, and the password is totally random. I do have the same login/password combination on the PC though, but even if that was it, it shouldn't have access to more than the folders I've selected to be shared...
