Im trying to connect from my mac to a pc
I am connected through ethernet to an external BB & network hub. the PC is connected to this hub via USB to adapter which goes from there to the hub.
Confused yet?
My ISP (BT) say it is possible to network through this. I have created a new location on my mac, and entered in the TCP/IP settings but my mac says that the IP is in use.
When I went to connect to server and browsed I did get a temporary view of two folders called 'local' and 'WORKGROUP' which were empty, but I havent seen them since.
This is all confusing the hell out of me, if anyone has ANY idea what the situation is and how to sort it out that would be great!!
