Hi I am trying to print to 3 shared windows printers on our network.

The server is sbs 2003 SP2 I ran a patch that I had found out I needed from one of these forums after installing sp2. Can't remember what it was for.

In cups I checked use kerberos and I think that this is my issue.

We have a g5 running leopard and a mac mini running tiger. No issues in tiger it can see the printers. I didn't check kerberos in cups on the mac mini.

I have stopped the g5 from connecting to the AD domain but I still can't remove the use kerberos check in cups I get

401 Unauthorized
Enter your username and password or the root username and password to access this page. If you are using Kerberos authentication, make sure you have a valid Kerberos ticket.

I didn't install os x it is a fresh install but I presume the user account s administrator as the account can do pretty much everything else.

In add printers when the machine is joined to the network it can see the printers but it can't add them saying some sort of permissions error.

This is why I think it is to do with the kerberos check mark. How do I get a valid ticket to remove the option or how do I remove the option.

Hope this makes sense. I am a windows guy not a mac guy as well but I seem to be getting an understanding of where everything else so please bear that in mind :)
