Hello everyone,

Is there any software for the mac where I can monitor my bandwidth usage?
I would like to see how much data has been passing through my internet connection, you know, downloaded and uploaded.

My other question is I have a router for the whole house, how can I know if some one is currently using the internet and how many people are using it because we are kind of a big family and using the internet while some one else does makes it slower.

I would be thankful

Your router should have this info. You need to access it - maybe with 192.168.178.1, or 192.168.2.1. Should be in the manual, or in a google search...

on linksys, nomrally, unless you've made manual changes, the router's address is 192.168.1.1

login username is either :blank (nothing in it), or 'admin'
password: admin

once logged in, go to the Status tab, and check the subtabs for this info. If it's a wireless network the connected systems will show there.

LAN connected systems (wired systems) sometimes aren't shown on this screen. Depends on the router model.
