Never gets past Greenpoison initialized.

Ive seen a lot of people offer advice on this but perhaps the majority don't know what they are talking about. Anyone know for sure what is causing this.

I have seen some people say comment out something in the hosts file, and others say NOT to comment out.. ***** ridiculous.

I'm running 4.2.1 JB 'tethered' so I ran GP and it was stuck at the "initializing" screen on the iPhone.

So then I did a complete restore of 4.2.1 and tried GP again, clean. Same problem. Now I've re-jailbroken with redsn0w with no problems, but I'm still getting stuck at the "initializing" screen of GP...

I'm running the newest baseband, because I'm not a unlocker so I don't care, but I'm not sure what the issue is here.

I've also downloading the GP linked in this thread and still no luck.

So I got it to work somehow... After several reboots and DFU's it just worked.
